Our last Day at CHI turned out to be a very busy day. It started out with Amy and me giving a presentation on our recipe for raw young coconut whipped cream. After the presentation we assembled our raw pancakes using raw chocolate cream and our coconut cream.
And boy were they delicious!!
After breakfast, we started preparing lunch, which included making two different kinds of raw cheeses, marinara and zucchini linguini. Other groups made different mock pasta dishes, and we were able to taste each one for lunch.
After lunch we had a fabulous raw chocolate demonstration by Master Chef Yanne Larsen from Sweden. I never thought making raw chocolates would be so challenging. There’s definitely an art to it.
Lastly, we had a graduation ceremony. Congratulations to all of the July 2012 Raw food Chef Instructors. I had a wonderful time learning how to teach others the art and practice of creating raw food. I can’t wait to get back home and start teaching raw food classes with my partner in food, Amy Koerner. And we know our husbands are eager to be our taste-testers. 🙂
Oh yeah, here’s that recipe for whipped cream. Give it a try and tell me how you liked it.
Thanks for following our raw food chef adventure. We’ll be talking more about raw food in the weeks to come and are eager to get feedback from you!
