This past weekend my partner in raw food, Amy Koerner, and I went to Nashville to develop a raw food teaching plan. We are excited to let everyone know we will be teaching raw food classes sometime at the end of September, first of October. We will keep you posted on the places and times. If you are interested in setting up an in-home raw food class, please let us know. We are excited about educating people on the health benefits of raw food and raw juices.
When we were in Nashville, we worked hard and played a little. =) Here are a few things we got into while we were there. We stopped by the Tomato Art Festival, where we saw lots of wonderful local venders promoting their products and of course many beautiful tomatoes.
We also had a few minutes to stop by the West Nashville Farmers Market where we met some like-minded raw foodies. They make raw food for the Nashville area and are at the Nashville farmers markets during the weekends. Their food is yummy!
After a little farmers market fun, we decided to eat some tasty vegetarian/raw food at “The Wild Cow” in East Nashville. Can I just tell you, this was a great place!!! I had a black bean burger with homemade bar-b-que sauce, tomatoes, onions, pineapple slaw and pickles…. YUMMY! Amy had sweet potato wraps with pineapple slaw. We also had peanut thai hummus that was out of this world! I suggest you stop by “The Wild Cow” if you are ever in Nashville.
And before we left we couldn’t leave Music City without stopping by Whole Foods to pick up my bulk apples, carrots, and beets for my “Pour Me Some Juice” juicing peeps. Lots of yummy goodness!
I hope my juice people are all ready for some delicious juice this week!!
